Dolly is a very intelligent German Shepard/Cattle Dog mix. She is 3-4 years old and thinks she is a 65 lb lap dog. She would love to spend the day playing in a fenced yard and then snuggle up to you on the couch and ask for belly rubs. Dolly has excellent house manners and can be trusted out alone while her people are away. She knows just about every command I could think to ask her and she is very praise motivated. If she has your attention she will do whatever you ask her to. She is also crate trained and has terrific off leash recall. Dolly loves playing with other dogs and does great meeting new dogs with a proper off leash introduction on her home turf. She would love to live with other dogs or have regular canine visitors. However, she is leash reactive with other animals and would need someone to work with her if she would be going for walks in a busy town where other dogs couldn't be avoided. Dolly is also able to detect highs and lows in blood sugar according to her previous owner but she is not able to be a fully certified service dog. She would do best in a home where any children were 12 and older.
